Big Brother & the Holding Company & Sweet Smoke album covers tray

$40.00

This 12x12 tray has the cover art from the 1968 album Cheap Thrills, the second studio album by American rock band Big Brother and the Holding Company, and the last with Janis Joplin as lead singer on the top. The cover art was by underground cartoonist Robert Crumb after the band's original idea, a photo of the group naked in bed together, was vetoed by Columbia Records. The bottom is the cover art from the 1970 progressive jazz-fusion and psychedelic rock album Just a Poke by the American band Sweet Smoke.
